Laura L. Hennecke, nee Geiger of Washington died Friday, May 16, 1986, at St. John's Mercy Hospital, Washington. She was 47 years old.
Mrs. Hennecke, daughter of the late Jule and Pearl Geiger, nee Philbert, was born July 3, 1938, at Augusta. She was baptized at the E. and R. Church of Augusta and received her education at the local school.
November 12, 1955, she was married to Charles Hennecke. After marriage, the couple established residence in Washington. This marriage was blessed with two children, whom she leaves to survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Ann Geiger on December 9, 1964, and her father, Julius E. Geiger on January 10, 1969.
Survivors include: her husband, Charles Hennecke of Washington; one son, Charlie Hennecke, Jr., of Washington; one daughter, June Casey and husband Dennis, Jr., of Union; one sister, Rose Lloyd and husband Melvin of Beaufort; two brothers, Raymond Geiger and wife Margie of Jefferson City and Fred Geiger and wife Marilyn of Marthasville; one granddaughter, Shannon Casey and one grandson, Nathan Hennecke; one brother-in-law, Ervin Hennecke, Washington; aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 18, 1986, at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington, with the Rev. Greg King, officiating. Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Washington.
