Audrey L. Noe was born in St. Louis on Oct. 26, 1930, the daughter of the late George Broy and his wife, Verniece (nee Furlong), and passed away at the St. John's Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur on Sunday, Oct. 25, 1987, in her 57th year.
She received her schooling in St. Louis and grew to young womanhood there. On Sept. 24, 1949, she was united in marriage to Dorse R. Noe. They lived in St. Louis for a few years and then moved to Edgemont, Ill., to make their home. In 1978 the family moved to Beaufort to live. Mrs. Noe was a member of the Women of the Moose No. 76 of Caseyville, Ill., and the Academy of Friendship of the Moose Lodge.
Those who survive are her husband, Dorse Noe of Beaufort; one daughter, Janet Noe of the home; her mother, Verniece Broy of Collinsville, Ill.; two sisters, Laverne Tongay and Mary Ann Broy of Collinsville; three brothers, Richard Broy of Affton, William Broy of St. Louis County and Gary Broy of Collinsville; her mother-in-law, Alice Rice of Poplar Bluff; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1987 from the Oltmann Funeral Home in Union at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Don Simmons. Interment followed in the Union Cemetery.
