Buchanan Turvin of Washington died October 21, 1986 at his home. He was 55 years old.
Mr. Turvin, son of Estelle Turvin (nee Gilman) and the late Joseph D. Turvin, was born on December 26, 1930, in New York.
He was married to Andrea C. Gollrad.
Mr. Turvin received his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army as a sergeant. He was employed as an engineer assistant for a communication company. In 1978, Mr. and Mrs. Turvin established residence near Washington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph D. Turvin, and one daughter, Christina F. Campbell, on June 24, 1976.
Survivors include: his wife Andrea C. Turvin, nee Gollrad; one son, Ralph Turvin and wife Delena of Katy, Texas; one daughter, Marg Nivison of St. Louis; his mother, Estelle Turvin of Dover, Florida; two sisters, Geraldine Yarbough of Dover, Florida and Josephine Boutwell of New York City, N.Y.; four grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were conducted Friday, October 24, 1986, at the Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, St. Louis, with the Rev. Montie Shinkle officiating.
