Tracy Allen Taylor, 44, passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2013 at home.
He was born at Camp Pendleton, CA to proud parents the late Jerry Taylor and Diane Taylor on July 14, 1968.
He received his schooling at St. Anthony’s Catholic grade school in Sullivan until the family moved to Delaware for four years, when they returned he attended Sullivan High School, Sullivan, MO. He graduated in 1987. He also took many classes at East Central College to earn a Business Degree.
As a teenager and a young man, Tracy was on the Sullivan Jr. Fire department and then moved on to the Volunteer Fire Department. He even at a young age loved helping others.
On February 19, 1994 he was joined in marriage with Pamela Webb and he accepted Pam’s 2 sons Josh and Jacob as his own and in August 1995 they brought into this world a bouncing baby boy… Tracy’s pride and JOY -Bobby Dean Taylor.
Tracy managed the Hardees, Subway, Dominos & Burger King in Sullivan for many years.
On September 14, 2001 he was united in marriage to his wife Lynn – he opened his heart once again, this time to Lynn’s 3 sons, Jesse Wayne, Kevin Charles and Cory Scott. He loved the boys like his own.
Tracy loved to play paint ball, enjoyed the time with his buddy’s – game nights but mostly loved watching movies and just sitting with Lynn spending quality time just saying nothing or talking about everything!
He, Lynn and boys became members of First Christian Church in Washington MO on February 17, 2008 and at that time he turned his life over to Christ, he helped so many men, women and children learn to know and love the Lord!! If you needed someone to pray for you or with you he was your guy!!!
He was employed as a hearing representative with Equifax in St Louis-he lived for his job he loved getting up and going to work each day.
Tracy is survived by his wife Lynn (nee Ehlenbeck), 4 sons, Bobby Dean Taylor, Jesse, Kevin and Cory Hansel, his mother Diane Taylor of Sullivan, MO , his grandmother Ellen Geraldine Schaffer-Brune, Sister Cathy McAfee and Husband Jason, nephew Kyle Williams of Glen Carbon, IL, Mother in law Virginia Ehlenbeck, and the Late Charles Ehlenbeck, Villa Ridge
