Adell Marie Eggenberg, nee Lampkin, 96, Washington, formerly of Hermann, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at her daughter's home in Union.
Adell, daughter of the late Joseph A. Lampkin and wife Mary M., nee Gleick, was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Morrison. She was united in marriage to David G. Eggenberg Feb. 17, 1934, in Gasconade. Adell was a member of First United Pentecostal Church, Washington. She was a housewife.
Adele was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Eggenberg, July 16, 1991; parents, Joseph A. and Mary M. Lampkin; six brothers, Henry Otis Lampkin, Lloyd Lewis Lampkin, Claude Lampkin, James Joseph Lampkin, Virgil Melton Lampkin and Oscar Ray Lampkin; and three sisters, Olivia May Koch, Pearl Alma Gove and Geneva Anita Lampkin.
She is survived by three daughters, Doris J. Sanders and husband Edmond, Kyle, Texas, Carol D. Gabel and husband James, Union, and Sandra L. Morris, Pacific; one son, Billie J. Eggenberg and companion Jo-Ann Taylor, St. Louis; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann. Memorials may be given to First United Pentecostal Church, in care of Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home.
