Nighton Hubert Wall, known to all as Nick, 59, Pacific, departed this life Saturday, March 29, 2014, in Pacific.

Nick, son of Eugene Nighton Wall and wife Cherril June, nee Medley, was born March 24, 1955, in Washington. He was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Fenton Nov. 1, 1974, and two children came to bless this union. In 2007, he began sharing his life with Brenda "Diane" Summers, nee Dodd.

Nick was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith. For over 30 years, he was employed by the Rockwood School District, Glencoe, having recently retired as the maintenance supervisor. Nick was an outdoorsman at heart, and enjoyed many outdoor activities. Hunting and fishing were favorite hobbies, as was boat riding on the river. He was a talented musician, and played the guitar, mandolin and banjo. He was happy entertaining family and friends. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his children and grandchildren, and many happy memories were created.

Nick is survived by two daughters, Naomi Lumos and husband Randy "Ox," Sullivan, and Angela Wall and fiance Jeremy Millfelt, Pacific; mother, Cherril Wall, St. Louis; mother-in-law, Naomi Wilson, St. Louis; Diane's daughter, Danielle French, St. Louis; five grandchildren, Breanna Lumos, Destiny Lumos, R.J. Lumos, all of Sullivan, Joseph Acton and Zachary Millfelt, both of Pacific; Diane's granddaughter, Isabella French, St. Louis; aunts; uncles; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death his wife, Margaret Ann "Sissy" Wall; father, Eugene Wall; companion, Brenda "Diane" Summers; and one sister, Deborah Wall.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Tom Smith officiating.

Interment was in Green Mound Cemetery, St. Clair.

Memorials may be given to the family.
