It seems there must be a connection to my line although not a direct one.
My great-great grandfather was Thomas Young Grantham born 1837. His daughter Elizabeth Adeline Grantham was my great-grandmother. Addie had a brother Thomas Claywell Grantham born 1863.

I don't see a Thomas W. Grantham born 1870 in the family history I have. Maybe he was a cousin of my great-grandmother's generation.
