My great-grandmother had this obituary clipping, I am not sure which paper it comes from.
Robbie T. Eads, daughter of James Haggard and Barbara Jane Bush Haggard, was born Feb. 23, 1877 at Clark County, Ky. She passed away Feb. 8, 1955 at 11:30 a.m. at the home of her son, Lloyd Eads, of Hopkins, Mo., after an illness of one year. Her age at the time of death was 77 years, 11 months and 15 days.
She was united in marriage to James W. Bowman, Mar. 30, 1898 at Clark County, Ky. They made their home on a farm north of McFall, Mo. To this union two sons were born: Walter H. Bowman of St. Joseph, and Curtis W. Bowman, of McFall, Mo. Mr. Bowman passed away Mar. 17, 1910.
On Nov. 2, 1919 she was married to Thomas Ora Eads at Maryville, Mo. They made their home at King City, Mo., later moving to the farm near McFall. to this union one son was born, William Lloyd Eads of Hopkins, Mo. Mr. Eads passed away Nov. 9, 1941.
Robbie was converted and joined the Baptist church in Kentucky at the age of 18 years, later transferring her membership to the Baptist church at McFall, where it remained at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and one grandson, J.W. Bowman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bowman, who passed away at the age of 14 years.
In addition to the three sons, she is survived by the three daughter-in-laws; one granddaughter, Mrs. Kyle Hayworth of Leon, Ia., one great-granddaughter, Kathy Elaine Hayworth; one sister, Mrs. Fannie McCormick of Winchester, Ky., and a host of relatives and friends. Robbie was a devoted mother and grandmother, a loyal friend and a cheerful neighbor who was always ready to lend a helping hand.
The Rev. Porter Hopkins of McFall, Mo., officiated at services held Feb. 10 at Price's Funeral Home at Maryville, Mo. Interment was on Feb. 11 in the McFall cemetery.
