OMG!!! R U still looking???
I can help a tiny bit, Thomas was my 2Ggrandfather's brother-in-law. They came to Greene County, MO and show up in the census as fan makers...topic came up today...I am still hoping to locate a fanning mill. The name Thaddeus Sharpensteen is new info for me...my 2GGrandfather was Andrew Jackson Slack, his sister married Thomas. Thomas apparently did not stay in Greene , county as I did find a reference several years ago that indicated he had moved to St. Louis.
Any info you have would be appreciated...that is about all I have, oh (I do not have an actual account on Ancestry). email - batsonsl@att.net.
