"KERLIN, ROBERT THOMAS, educator, author, was born March 22, 1866, in Newcastle, Mo. In 1890-94 and since 1900, he has been professor of practical theology Valley College. He was chaplain of 3d Missouri volunteers in Spanish-American war. He is the author of Mainly for Myself: The Lyrical Diversions of a Village Parson; and The Camp Life of the Third Regiment. "

Mrs. Robert T. Kerlin
Mrs. Adeline (Koster) Kerlin, 89, Westminster, a former resident of Cumberland, died Monday in a Baltimore hospital.
Mrs Kerlin, who taugh piano here for many years, was the widow of Dr. Robert T. Kerlin, who was formerly on the staff of Potomac State College.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles H. Albertson, JR., Westminster; Miss Constance Lee Kerlin, Baltimore, and Mrs. Anthony G. Shaw, Surrey, England, and three grandchildren.
The body is at the Myers Funeral Home in Westminister where services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., today, with interment there.
His obit was found on Genealogybank.com as "Dr. Robert Kerlin Dies" Friday, March 17, 1950, the "Socialist Call" published in NY, NY.
