I am researching my husband's family history.
His ggg-grandmother was Anna Colston born in 1829 and died apr. 3, 1861 or 64. She was married to Young Mimms Pitts who was born in Trigg Co. Kentky. and died June 3, 1871. They are both buried in the Pitts Cem. which is located on Dee Lightfoot Farm on the Polk & Hickory Co.,Mo. line. Would anyone have any info. Anna's mother, father, brothers or sisters and where she was born?
Would anyone have info. on what Samuel Lightfoot's mother's given and maiden name? His father was David L. Lightfoot and his g-father was Henry J. Lightfoot born in Virgina and died in Polk Co., Mo. Sam is buried in The Payne Cem. In Polk Co. Mo. He married Frances Ann Bradshaw-Fisher after her husband Robert Fisher died.
Robert Fisher & Frances Ann are both buried in The Hopewell Cem. in Polk Co. Mo. If anyone would have any info on Robert Fisher's family and where they were from would be helpful.
There were 2 sisters from Tenn. Martha & Mary Barnes.
Martha married --- Fellows. Mary married James Cloyed whose son was George Washington Cloyed that married Martha Stewart.
If any one would have any info. on the Barnes family and where in Tenn. and on Martha Stewart's family also, would be much appreciated too.
