Yes, I found out some information about the House of the Good Shepherd. Good Shepherd Schools is a "category" of reform schools that also took in orphans. Some had Good Shepherd in the name;some did not. I initially found out something about it from reading a dissertation by NancyMarie Phillips about the Good Shepherd Schools in general. It was called "Education for Girls in the House of the Good Shepherd in the United States, 1940 to 1980." I googled it and found information about it. It is very interesting and I learned a lot about the Schools from it. I emailed with Nancy Marie and she gave me the contact information for the Archivist for the Good Shepherd Schools. His name is Joel Shedlofsky. I contacted him and he verified my Mother's dates of attendance at the school. He didn't have any other information. There is also a very active Facebook group that keeps track of those schools. I think the page is called "St. Joseph's Academy, Omaha, Nebraska" But, it is really for all of the Good Shepherd Schools. Contact them. They are very helpful. Good luck.
