1900 census for Carterville, Jasper Co, MO lists her name as Myrtle Gerd. A misspelling. Age 10 and step-dau of head of house: Edward Simon (surname spelled wrong too, shows Simmons I believe). This family moved to Barry Co for a short time but I believe Myrtle had died by then. I'm attempting to locate a grave. Surname Killion or Killian is possible too for Myrtle, as her birth-father was one J.A. Killion (Killian). Good was step-father's surname. She never used Simon as a surname. I was sent info some time ago regarding "a Myrtle Irby", but this is NOT the same person. I checked and nothing rings true. I do not believe my Myrtle lived to adulthood. She had a twin sister: Flora. Their mother was Dora Ellen Piper Simon (often called Ella). Any info or clue would help. Thanks.
