F T Adams was a Joplin inventor before 1916. That's all I know about him so I have been studying possible matches.
Miners named Thomas Adams, Frederick Adams, Thomas Frederick Adams are of interest. One or more such miners lived in Joplin according to the city directories I've seen at ancestry.com. If someone has access to the book on mining accidents at the public library, maybe he's listed.
The best match so far is Thomas F Adams, b: Jan 1871, who died before 1910, but I can't find his grave or death notice. He was a Stationary Engineer. He was married to Mollie Cooper and she's easy enough to find but there's nothing on him except 1900 census and marriage license. Then in 1910 Mollie's a widow and that's it!
Any help with those threads would be appreciated. Mollie is buried at Ozark Memorial Cemetery in Joplin. Also anyone who has access to good sets of cemetery records, I couldn't find any online.
