KKK Cloth Children
The children of W. J. Mathas of Four Corners, was taken to Joplin recently by members of the Klu Klux Klan and given a complete outfit of clothes, so that they might attend school. The children was in dire need of clothing as they hardly had enough to keep them warm. The father being unable to work to provide them with suitable cloth4s for school.
K.K.K. Visits Smithfield Church
Eight robed members of the Klu Klux Klan visited the Smithfield Christian church, Sunday night and presented the evangelist, Rev. Carl L. Smith with a present of about $35. The spokeman for the klansmen gave a brief talk, endorsing the revival which Rev. Smith is conducting. After a response by the evangelist, they departed as quietly as they came.
