Hello, I have recently begun to search for Longwith family in Livingston County in the 1870-1890 period. Almira Minnie Williams married Thomas Longwith in Ohio and moved to Illinois and then to Missouri. They had several children that lived there in Livingston Co. in 1880 (Federal Census): Almira's 2 sons George and Frank Williams born in NY, John Thomas, born in 1866 in Ohio, and Walter B. and Rosa Lillie, and Willis born in MO(?).

If anyone has information concerning Thomas Longwith (where or when he died and if he is buried in Livingston Co.) or knowledge of the rest of the family, if they stayed in the area or returned to Illinois or Ohio, I would appreciate hearing from you. Are there any living descendents of Walter B. or Rosa or Willis in the Livingston Co. area. I am a descendent of John Thomas Longwith's.

Also, did this family come into the area with Adam Longwith and Joseph Longwith (with wife Lavina Miller) and their families during the 1870-1890 period?

Also, Huldah Longwith Walker lived here with her husband John Addison Walker in 1880 along with their children. Are there any descendents of this family in the area?

Looking forward to hearing from someone out there in Livingston County. Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
J.E. Longwith
