Mahala's mother was Tempy Catherine Wilson daughter of Joseph L. Wilson and Elizabeth D. Piver. Mahala's sister Martha Louise Burcham was my gr-grandmother. When Tempa/Temperses/T.c. Wilson married Isaac McAger Burcham it was listed as T.C. Wilson and Isaac M. Burcham Nov. 15, 1857 in Madison County, MO. Tempy married John Amer after Isaac died. She is buried in Jewett Cemetery in Madison County MO.
Mahala is buried in Christian Cemetery Frederickstown, MO
