Margaret Melvina LaChance was born 15 Jan 1832 in Madison County, MO. In 1847 she became a member of the Catholic Church at Fredericktown, where she held her membership until
the day of her death. She was united in matrimony to Francis Marion Beeve Jul 20 1858 at Fredericktown, MO. Seven children blessed this union, of which five are living,
viz: Francis M Beeve Jr.,Cintha Ann Miller,Mary Louisa Scott, Julia E Chamberlin, Martha M Baldwin. On Sep 8 1901 the deceased was attacked with a severe case of cholera morbus, which ultimated in her death on 13 Sep 1901. Her loved ones testify that she lived a righteous and upright life, that at all times she was a true & devoted wife & that
she was a loving mother and that she was liked by all who
knew her. These virtues linger with the loved ones and cheer their hearts by encouraging hope for a future reunion. May God who comforts the cast down, always cheer the heart of those who wait for ressurection morn. Emulate these virtues and in this way prepare to spend a happy hereafter. In Sympathy A D Burress
