James Claud Courtney and Nettie Dutton?

Classification: Query
Surnames: Courtney Dutton Fleming
I am looking for verification that James Claud Courtney (born abt 1866 to James L Courney and Hellen Fleming Courtney) first married a woman named Nettie Dutton.

James Claud and his first wife (supposedly Nettie) had two children, Mary Helen Courtney Postle Stipe and Scott Nelson Courtney. Scott's Montana marriage license says that his mother was Nettie L Dutton. Scott was born in 1893 in Marion County. Some time after his birth, his mother (Nettie) either dies or leaves the family as James Claud Courtney is married to May (Elizabeth May) in 1900 and they go on to have two more children.

James Claud Courtney was living in Warren, Marion, MO in both the 1880 and 1900 censuses, so if Nettie died, it is likely that she died and is buried in Warren. I cannot find any online resources that have her listed in a cemetery. Does anybody have access to a cemetery list to see if she is listed?

Also, I have checked the state death index, but have not found her listed. She may have died in that time period where they stopped doing death certificates, but is there another local resource for deaths between 1892 and 1898 when I believe Nettie may have died?

Finally, there is a possibility that Nettie was Sarah Annette Dutton from Ohio, but I'm not sure on that at all - just a theory.

Thanks so much!
