I am searching the William Fleming family who settled in McDonald County, MO, after the Civil War. This family previously settled in Dade Co., MO. after migrating from Trigg Co., KY. The father and mother were William Fleming, b. ca. 1823, TN, and Minerva BARROW, b. ca. 1827, TN. Their children consisted of: Margaret E., b. 1848; John Rubin, b. 1849 who m. Darthula SMITH; Eliza, b. 1851; Sabrian Frances, b. 1854; James William, b. 1857; Isabella, b. 1859; and Lorenzo Dow, b. 1865. My great-grandfather, James William Fleming was married to Mary Elizabeth MEADOR, the dau. of Francis Washington & Margaret J. HIRE Meador. The children of James William & Mary Elizabeth Meador Fleming were: William C., b. July 1878; Walter Raleigh, b. March 1880; and my grandfather, Hardy Frank Fleming, b. August 1885, who married Ruth May BALLARD of the Cherokee Nation. I am particularly looking for death dates & locations of death for William Fleming, Minerva Barrow Fleming, and Mary Elizabeth Meador Fleming. Any help with the ancestors or descendants of William & Minerva Barrow Fleming will be greatly appreciated. I have considerable documentation and am willing to share information concerning any connections to this family. Thanks!!!
