Margaret A. Berendzen, 82,
Dies; Services at Mary's Home
Margaret A. Berendzen, 82, Henley
died Monday, Feb. 10, 1975 at Colum-
bia Regional Hospital at Columbia.
Mrs. Berendzen had been in ill health
for some time.
She was born Dec. 12, 1892, at
Mary's Home to Bartrum and Mary
Hake Bungart. She was married on
April 14, 1925 at Mary's Home
to Albert Berendzen, who survives.
A life long resident of the Mary's
Home community, Mrs. Berendzen
was amember of Our Lady of Snows
Church and its Altar Sodality and
Surviving her, in addition to her
husband, are three sons, Elmer
Berendzen, Florissandt, Albert Ber-
endzen, Henley, and Marvin Berend-
zen, Jefferson City; three daughters,
Mrs. Harry (Marcella) Brown, High
Ridge, Mrs. Frank (Lucille) Ham,
Florissant, and Mrs. William (Maxine)
Mormann, Waterloo, Iowa; two bro-
thers, Ben Bungart, Eldon, and Pete
Bungart, Mary's Home and 14 grand
children and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 10
a.m. at Our Lady of Snows Church
with the Rev. Henry Reichart officiating.
Burial was in the parish cemetery
under the direction of Phillips Funeral
Home of Eldon.
The Rosary was prayed for Mrs.
Berendzen at 8 p.m. Tuesday at
Phillips Chapel in Eldon.
