"Victor A. Morff, 72, Eugene, died Monday at his home. He was born June 12, 1016, at St. Thomas, a son of John and Theresa Loethen Morff. On Aug. 8, 1939, at Mary's Home, he was married to Regina M. Kempker, who survives at the home.
A retired dairy farmer, he was a member of Our Lady of the snows Catholic church, Mary's Home. He was a lifelong Henley resident until he moved to Mary's Home after retiring in 1979.
Other survivors include: two sons, Ronnie Morff of Eugene and Roger Morff of Jefferson City; two daughters, Jo Ann Alexander of St. James and Judy Hinson of Jefferson city; a brother, Barney Morff of St. Thomas; five sisters, Emma Schulte and Arlene Hudak, both of Henley, LaVerne Berendzen of Eugene and Marie Holtmeyer of St. Elizabeth, and Sally Biffle of Clinton, Md.; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 A.M. Thursday at Our Lady of the Snows church, Mary's Home, with the Rev. John Schutty officiating. Burial will be in Mary's Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-9 P.M. today at the Phillips funeral Hom, Mary's Home, with a rosary at 7:30 P.M."
