I am searching for the ancestry of Clarence CARLOCK (1894 – 1963) of Missouri and Iowa. Since I have been able to locate him on the 1930 and 1940 censuses, but not on earlier censuses or the World War I draft cards, even though he served in World War I, I suspect that “Clarence” may have been a middle name and that he may be found under a different name in earlier records.
Here is what I have found so far:

There is also an infant named Lorena Belle CARLOCK (d. 12 Dec 1931) buried in the same cemetery as Clarence and Alma. Was she in some way related to Clarence?
Furthermore, the following individual also resided in Harrison Co., IA. So far I have not yet been able to find a connection between this individual and Clarence.
