Ruth West of this city and Dr. Earl A. Porter of Hannibal were married June 24 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy B. Meriwether in this city. Mrs. Lee K. Taylor of Des Moines, Iowa, and Mrs. Mark Twain Swearengen of this city were attendants for the bride. Davis Newlon of Chicago served the groom as best man and A.R. Wade of Hannibal was groomsman. Dr. Porter was an osteopathic physician in Hannibal where the couple planned to live.
