Need help locating Alexander prior to his marriage to Susan Taylor in Morgan County, 28 May 1884. I want to know his parentage.

Census search on Ancestry has been unsuccessful. Death record of David R. Francis Berkstresser lists A.D. Berkstresser & Susan Taylor as his parents and states that A.D. was born in Pennsylvania, however, census records for 1900, 1910 & 1920 state A.D. born in Ohio. There is also conflicitng info regarding his age.

Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.
