I just found this reply to my post and its been so long ago, but maybe you have info on the Turpin clan, specifically James W. Turpin and wife Sarah Jane Hardwick who had 10 children together, one of them being Laura Turpin my great-grandmother. Viola was one of her sisters that married Charles Franklin Hammons and had Matthew Ralston and Myrtle May by him and then she died. He remarried my great-grandmother Laura and they had my grandmother, Josephine Hammons in 1907. Any info on Hammons would be great too, as I have no ancestry at all on Charles.Thank you, Pamela
