Danield Kerbaugh migrated from Greene County, TN to New Madrid after the 1830 census. He died there abt 1833. Am searching for evidence of his having arrived in New Madrid and hopefully evidence of where he was buried. Anything mentioning him would be very helpful. Last name sometimes spelled Carbaugh or Kirbach.

Trying to find information on my grandmother Blanch/Blanchie Sharp. The only thing I know is that she was born in 1894 in Hammond, Ind. Married my grandad Collie Williams in 1911. They had three children, Virginia (my mother) Delores and Lowell. She died some time after that. I believe it was an influenza epidemic. Also I think she died in the Morehouse area. Have no idea where she was burried. That is the only info. I have. Surely there is a decendant out there some where. Grateful for any info. that someone may have.

Audrey

If I understand you correctly, you are searching for a baby
in New Madrid County, Missouri. I would look for death certificate at Missouri State Archive Death Certificates under the Surname and the County. If that didn't work try Surname plus all the surrounding counties. Look for known parents and cemetery buried. Yes, I would open however many there are. The reason, you may find other children's deaths that you didn't know about. The great thing is when you click on a name and enlarge the death certificate and you go back the color of the box has changed, so it keeps track of where you are if you get a distraction.

The original burial data has been lost to the ages and the only information that the town or funeral home has is the inventory of grave stones. The old cripts that have falling in they have no record of who was buried in them.

He was the driver of the vehicle that crashed resulting in his brother (Jimmys) death and I suppose he left due to feelings of guilt. I'm his niece but I wasn't even born yet when this happened.

The GROSVENOR DNA project is looking for male descendants of any of the various GROSVENOR families who immigrated to America since its founding. Goals are to discover:
1. How many different common male ancestors are associated with the GROSVENOR surname.
2. How are your GROSVENOR ancestors related to other families with the GROSVENOR surname.
3. How are the different GROSVENOR family lines related.
4. Are all GROSVENORs from an ancestral country related, or are there many different families with the name GROSVENOR.
5. Can a connection between the GROSVENORs from one country and the GROSVENORSs from another be made.
6. Which GROSVENOR researchers should be collaborating because they share a common ancestor.
You can contact me at dglennw@charter.net or go directly to the project at http://www.familytreedna.com/surname-search-results.aspx?sTy....

David G.
Hello, I am wondering if you can help me. I am researching our Sullivan family Line. They lived in the Missouri area from the 1850s through the turn of the century. We are not sure of the eldest parents names but understand that they passed away sometime during the Civil War in the Pest House near Ironton, Missouri. We were also told that this "Pest House" was later referred to as the "Poor Farm". They had several children that were taken in by various family and area people following their parent's death from the Small Pox. Two of the children were William Victor Sullivan (born in Dec 1859) and his brother, John L. Sullivan (born in August 1856). We believe there were two sisters, N.Nancy and Elizabeth (Lizzie). We believe there may have been others but can't be sure. William was reportedly born in Liberty, Iron County, Missouri and in all likliness, so were his siblings. We would love to know more about the family should anyone know. William Victor Sullivan married Etta Caroline Braswell, Lizzie married Nathan Oneal. A small note that a cousin has shared has some information written on it that, "the Sullivans were buried near the "Ivester Farm". We are not sure if there may be a cemetery there somewhere or that they were buried on what is now "private property". We would love to discover the whereabouts of their final resting place. Other families associated are the "Carnahans" Stevenson or Stepherson" "Hubble" "Oneal" and "MCfadden" Should you have any information, please email me at glendalecrazy@aol.com or give me a call at 406-465-5667.
The census did not state relationships until 1880. You could look for a marriage for Martha Knighton (Martha ___ to ___ Knighton) to see if her surname was Allen at the time of her marriage.

Check later censuses and the 1850 census as well. If Martha was listed in 1850 as Martha Knighton, then the two children you list are not likely hers.
