My family has a quilt made up of 12 rows of 14 squares each. This is a hand made quilt with each square made by different friends and family of Martha Jane Barker Gallemore. Martha's parents were George Barker and Florence LOVE Barker. She married John E. Blankenship (He later married a Roxy Canada) Martha Later married Fred Gallemore and they moved to Glendora California for Freds health. Martha moved back to Seneca Newton County Missouri around the time this quilt was made. Some of the names (Children) did not live in Missouri. Row 1 square (1) can't read (2) Susan Coleman, (#3) Jim Mitchell (4) Martha Kipp (5) Lauretta Wilkinson (6) Clark Blankenship (7)? (8) Berk Mourk
(9) Lawrence Crabtree (10) Julia ? (11) Mrs Sarada Crabtree (12) Hugh Mitchell (13) Mrs. Alma Smith (14)Earl Minkriff.
I had a hard time reading some of the stiching so the spelling of the names could be wrong. I would like to know the relationship of these names to Martha Barker Blankenship Gallemore. Some of the people on the quilt may be living today and for security you might not want to give out info on those.
