Maybe some kind researcher out there has some information on this family. The last trace I have found on this family is in the 1850 Lewis Co, TN census.

Amanda Caroline Fite (maiden name=Pollock), born 1832 TN
Dicey Fite, dates unknown
Neil Caplinger, dates unknown

I found Dicey Fite marrying Neil Caplinger in Newton Co, MO on 12 Sep 1880. Perhaps Wesley and Amanda moved here, too.
