Long Illness Is Fatal To Clarence West, 56
Clarence L. West, 56 years old, died at 12:45 o’clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 2502 Willard Avenue, following a seven month illness. He lived in Joplin the last 12 years.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Clara West of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Cody Pearson, 1105 Sergeant Avenue; Mrs. Crystal Caceres of Corpus Christi, Texas; Mrs. Jennie Bradshaw, 1101 Sergeant Avenue; Mrs. Shirley Matchell, 3504 Willard Avenue; Mrs. Loraine Burress and Miss Macy West of the home; four sons: Connie West, 2501 Willard Avenue; Barton West, 1115 Sergeant Avenue; Leonard West and Shannon West of the home and 17 grandchildren.

The Hurlbut Undertaking Company is in charge of funeral arrangements.
