I seem to have lost William A. Keyte in about 1829 in Perryville. William A. Keyte was being bankrolled by his brother, James Keyte, in the establishment of a general store that was to be called "William A. Keyte Co." In 1828 the store was supposed to be in St. Louis, but in a contract signed by the two brothers it wound up in 1829 intending to be in Perryville. I had not had a brother to James until recently. They were English, coming from around Manchester, and were supposed to have arrived in Missouri in 1818. Is there any familiarity with these folks on he part of anyone?
Or a clue as to the next step? Thanks.
