BROWN - HILL surnames in Sedalia Twp. Pettis Co., MO

Researching: Owen Brown and Alice V. Hill Brown in Sedalia, late 1800s early 1900s. Owen was blind, Alice taught in a school for the blind, possibly before her marriage and may have met Owen through her work. Known children: Fay D. Brown b. December 1883; Alice D. b. November 1885; Ira W. b. July 1888. They had some kind of store in Sedalia. Looking, basically, for any references and local history resources where the Brown's are mentioned. I am doing census, etc., research, but really want the 'fill-in' data on these folks, personal history stuff.
