Looking for info on Henry W. Morris, Sr. b. 1826 possibly in Kentucky, married Elizabeth F. Davis about 1847. Sometime after they married they headed west through Ohio then to Pettis County, Missouri. Henry died 1920 in Smithton, Pettiks Co., Missouri. When did Elizabeth die? Their children were:Minor Morris (who died young); Sinclair (Sinc) Morris; Daughter Morris; Henry W. Morris, Jr. b.11/4/1854, d. 5/7/1926 Smithton,Pettis Co., Mo.; Julia Morris b. 1856 d. between 1875-1877; Richard Pardon (Pard) Morris b.11/22/1865 Marietta,Ohio,d.1945 Fort Scott,Kansas, m. Ella Jane Kahrs on 2/18/1892 Pettis Co., Missouri,daughter of Peter Kahrs and Margaret Schlusing. Richard Pardon was a teacher and Ella Jane was one of his students. She was sixteen when they married with the approval of her father Peter Kahrs. Richard was about ten years older than her.
