CROSSLEN/CROSSLAND living near St. James in 1879

Classification: Query
Surnames: CROSSLEN, CROSSLAND, HICKAM
Hello, I'm looking for a CROSSLEN (or possibly CROSSLAND) family that would have living near St. James in 1879. I'm researching my 2nd great-grandmother Emma CROSSLEN (born around 1860) who married Enoch HICKAM July 4 1879 in Vienna Missouri. I have a newspaper clipping from the Phelps County New Era ( apparently the information was from the Vienna Courier but have found no other articles in either paper):
"Miss Emma Crosslen from near St. James in Phelps County, eloped with Mr. Enoch Hickam, son of Robt. Hickam, Esq., living near Vienna, on yesterday, meeting him for that purpose at the Lane's Prairie celebration. They arrived at Vienna about six o'clock in the evening, and were at once joined in marriage by Justice Henderson. These young people have had obstacles to encounter calculated to try their pluck, and which constitute quite a romance. We will give the chapter in full in our next issue.--[Vienna Courier."

Other of my family members say her name was Emily CROSSLAND, but have no other information. Thank you.
