I am looking for information on the Happy family which came to Missouri in the early 1800s. James Happy was born 1804 in Fayette County, Kentucky, and married Catherine Vaughn. His parents appear to be Elijah Happy and Nancy Rosell. James eventually settled in Ray County. It appears that he had a farm around Hardin and then his son, Elijah, farmed near Camden. I am trying to find more information on this line in Kentucky and hope to connect with any Ray County researchers of this family. Any assistance that can be provided on this line, or the Happy name, would be greatly appreciated.
