I am in possession of a class photo of approximately 87 pupils plus their teacher Mr. Burwell Fox. It was taken in 1892 and on the back are the pupils' names, plus who was deceased as of 8/28/1942, the occasion of the 50th anniversary of when the photo was taken. The transcriber was Lulu E. Barton, according to the back of the photo. She also has provided the names of the pupils enrolled but not present on the day of the picture. The photo belonged to my husband's great-uncle, Edward Mitchell Lands, who eventually became a teacher/Baptist minister in Reynolds Co., Mo. His grandmother was Nancy Barton, daughter of John and Mary "Polly" (Earles) Barton. If anyone is interested, I could look and see if your relative is on it. Thank you.
