Classification: Marriage
Surnames: Nichols, Nichols, Nickles
Looking for a marriage record for Wm. Nichols (sometimes spelled Nicholes, Nickles, etc.). He was remarried in St. Clair County sometime between 1870 and 1880 to a "Susan." Susan was born around 1832.

Wm. was born in Ohio (however, it was mistakenly recorded as in Missouri in the 1880 census) around 1830 and lived in Grundy County Missouri prior to moving to Taber, St. Clair County. The family moved around in St. Clair..from Chalk Level to Monegaw, etc.

I would be very appreciative to learn of any marriage or death records for him and/or his family.

Wm's children were:
William "Robert" about 1858
Coleman -- born about 1862
James -- born about 1866
Otha Benton -- born about 1869
Ora -- born about 1874
Lula -- born about 1877
Ida -- born about 1880

Again, the Nichols name has been recorded a number of different ways....Nichols, Nicholes, Nickles, etc.

Thanks!
Ken
