There are a one grave cemetery, and it is called Fraley, here is the Story on it.
Located in ROSCOE WEST TWP. T36N-R27W-NW1/4of SW1/4-- Section 11
Location: West of Roscoe on 82 highway, south on SW-401 4 miles, West on 900 for 1/2 mile. This cemetery is behind a barn on the top of a hill. There is a new house half way up the hill.
HISTORY: This cemetery has 2 graves. A burial stone of James W. Fraley, located at the corner, almost at the man"s back door, and one a native rock. They say at one time there were about 6 or 7 visible markings. This cemetery is on private land owned by Orville Schaff. Mr. Schaff says the first owner, a union soldier, was given the 40 acres as a grant for service in the Civil War. The abstract office shows a Jno E, Williams owned the land in 1865. Dave Fraley purchased the land in 1870 and owned it for some 20 years. It is not a deeded cemetery but a family burial area. There is no fence, brush, or trees, but it is covered with tall weeds.
