WM. L. DEATHERAGE

William Lafayette Deatherage, former resident of Desloge, passed away at Rosiclaire, Ill., on January 2, 1952, aged 54 years. He was born near Desloge on January 24, 1898, a son of the late Wm. and Belle Davis Deatherage.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Pfc. Donald Deatherage and Robert Deatherage; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Warden of St. Louis and Mrs. Hazel Levin of Los Angeles, Calif.; and one grandchild. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Elizabeth, Ill.

Funeral services were held at the Boyer Funeral Home in Desloge on Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. H. Godwin, pastor of the Cantwell Church of God. Interment was in St. Francois Memorial Park.
