BONNE TERRE - William Clyde Rawson, 71, Bonne Terre, died Nov. 28, 2002, at St. Joe Manor. Born Oct. 23, 1931, to the late Floyd and Mildred (Byington) Rawson. Preceded in death by an infant daughter, June Elaine Rawson; brother, Cletus Rawson; sister, Helen Lang.

He was a member of the Bonne Terre Church of God, retired from McDonald Douglas, Veteran U.S. Navy.

Survivors: wife, Roberta (Thurman) Rawson, Bonne Terre; children: David (Kathy) Rawson of Bonne Terre; Deborah (Larry) Gomache, Leadwood; Cynthia (Charles) Patterson, Texas; Janet (DeWayne) Reynolds, Bonne Terre; Diana (Emmet) Pyeatt, Bonne Terre; Beverly (Terry) Phillips, Bonne Terre; William (Angelia) Rawson, Farmington; James (Donna) Rawson, Bonne Terre; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters: Faye (Joe) Naused, Bonne Terre; Inez Wideman, Wortham; Rita (Butch) McClanahan, Park Hills; Virginia Marlow, Park Hills; brothers, Danny (Dot) Rawson and Tommy Rawson, both of North Carolina.

Visitation was held at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, Bonne Terre. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Boyer Chapel with Rev. Gary Carter and Rev. Danny Pyeatt officiating. Burial in Bonne Terre Cemetery with military rites.
