Dorothy Vera Pinkston, 78, of Farmington [St. Francois County] died May 5, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 24, 1917 in St. Louis to the late Lawrence and Josephine (David) Pinkston.
She is preceded in death by two brothers: James W. and Woodrow S. Pinkston.
Miss Pinkston was retired from Trimfoot Shoe Co.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Alma Lee Pinkston of Orland Park, Ill.; three nieces: Fay (Mrs. Carl) Osterman of Orland Park, Ill., Lana (Mrs. William) Goodroe of Lithonia, Ga. and Patricia (Mrs. Robert) Fletcher of Roseland, Ind.; five nephews: Thomas and Diane Pinkston for
[as spelled in obit] Griffeth [as spelled in obit], Ind. James L. and Arlene Pinkston of Palos Heights, Ill., W. Joseph Pinkston of Orland Park, Ill., Woody and Michelle Pinkston of Janesville, Wis. and John and Sally Pinkston of Texas.
Visitation will be today at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Taylor Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steven Loveless officiating. Burial will be in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery in rural Bonne Terre. Memorials may be made to the Marvin Chapel
Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
