I have a Thomas Albert Bray as my great-great grandfather. His first wife was Emma Wheeler. My great grandmother was their daughter. When Emma died in 1876, Thomas married Mahala and had four children with her. I'd be interested in anything you might have on the Bray branch.
This is what I have for these Brays:
William Bray (January 1, 1810-March 30, 1883) was born in Somersetshire, England and married Eliza Greatwood. They immigrated to Vienna Missouri while their son Thomas was still a young boy. They lived in Vienna until Thomas was 12 and then moved to Pay Down and established a carding and grist mill that he and then Thomas ran. He is said to have purchased the mill from Thomas J Kinsey’s estate after leasing it for a few years. William Bray’s daughter, Louisa Bray Kinsey, was Thomas Kinsey’s widow and may have inherited it from her husband and sold it to her father.
Thomas Albert Bray (January 23, 1845-November 6, 1906) was born in Bradford West Yorkshire, England. He married Emma Wheeler and had one child with her, Eliza Bray, born February 23, 1869 in Paydown, MO. Emma Wheeler died in 1876. Thomas then married Mahala Bray and had four children with her.
