I am researching my family history from Douglas, Taney and Ozark Counties. I am interested in any information on my Great Great Grandfather George W. Heatherly. He was born in 1810 possibly in North Carolina. He married a woman by the name of Hester. I don't have her last name. They came to Douglas County, Missouri in about 1840. Their children were: Sarah, born in 1834, William, born in 1839, Elizabeth, born in 1841, Jackson, born in 1843, Malinda, born in 1846, Mary, born in 1849, Jacob Lewis, born in 1851, Nancy, born in 1853, Milly, born in 1856, and Sarah J., born in 1862. I am searching for information on George W. Heatherly, his parents, siblings, and where they came from. I would also like to find out what his wife's last name was (Hester), who were her parents, siblings, where they were from. Any information would be appreciated.
