Spencer Mitchell was my great-great-grandfather and his son Wayman was my maternal great-grandfather. According to two Census records he was married to Amelia ? We have no idea who she was but different records show her born about 1840 in either Alabama, Georgia or Kentucky. I can't find any record of her in Fulton County,Arkansas where they lived while she was married to him. I assume she died in 1885 or a little later. I don't know where they were married or where she was buried or him either for that matter. There are assumptions but nothing I can prove. Since, Wayman's family was from Texas County and rather prominent perhaps you might see if you can find any history on either him or Amelia.
