(From a funeral card of my mother's from Gum & Son Funeral Home. I don't have the obit notice, but Sonny was my neighbor and I remember him dying. His parents were Leo and Essie Meyers Battreal, lived in Cadet. He had a brother, Jackie and a sister, Donna. Sonny used to be in a band in the 60's & 70's while we were growing up. I would assume Sonny was buried at St. Joachims Cemetery where the rest of the family are buried. I have a picture of the band as I used to attend the dances at Desloge VFW where they played every two weeks on a Saturday night).
