Catherine M. Culp of Potosi, departed this life Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of fifty-seven years, three months and twenty-six days. She was born March 15, 1952 at Old Mines, Missouri, a daughter to the late Edward and Theresa (Boyer) Golden.
Catherine was a member of the Glory Hill Assembly of God Church, Potosi Route. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved Jesus, her church, family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Culp; a brother, Louis Golden; a nephew, Timothy Golden and her grandparents, Thomas and Maggie (Sanders) Golden and Edward and Nellie Boyer.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are daughter, Ashley Golden and fiance' Tony Charboneau of Potosi; two grandchildren, Austin Reavis and Jason Charboneau of Potosi; seven brothers, Billy Golden and wife Glenda of Mineral Point, Johnny Golden of Potosi, Bob Golden and wife Janice of Potosi, Donald Golden and wife Betty of Potosi, Dale Golden and fiance' Vivian Cook of Potosi, Gary Golden and wife Patricia of Tennessee, and James "Bean' Golden and wife Julie of Potosi; five sisters, Louise Warden and husband Roy of Herculaneum, Loretta Golden of Potosi, Shirley Eye of Potosi, Debbie Aubuchon and husband Kevin of Cadet and Franny Hawkins of Potosi; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Glory Hill Assembly of God Church with Rev. Gary Golden officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Bobby, Jim, Billy, Donald, Dale and Johnny Golden. Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.
