Classification: Query
Surnames: Stewart Street Parker
Researching the family of Joseph Stewart, born about 1810 in Tennessee and his wife Elizabeth, born about 1822 in Tennessee.

Joseph was a blacksmith, and the family was living in or near Hartville, Wright County, Missouri during the 1860 census. They had four daughters, Mary J Stewart, born 1840 in Tennessee; Martha Stewart, born 1847 in Tennessee; Sarah Stewart, born 1855 in Missouri; and Malinda Stewart, born January 06, 1858 in Wright County, Missouri. They also had one son, James Stewart, born 1851 in Tennessee. I have not been able to find any information on this family before or after the 1860 census.

Malinda married Samuel C Parker of Laclede County in approximately 1877, and they are both buried at Holman cemetery. Malinda's maiden name was recorded as "Street" on the birth record for one of her children, so it is possible that Street is the correct surname for this family.
