Has anyone had any luck in obtaining funeral home records from the Maydell Funeral Home?

I am looking for records from 1919....the death cert states that a Wm C Maydell on 1926 Allen was the undertaker and the body was taken to the church from the decedent's home so I don't know if there would be any records anyway. I'm out of state or I would go knock on the door of their present location and ask!
