Using the St Louis Public Library website I found the obituary index. A great tool by the way.

It listed my guy, Hugh Robertson in the February 4, 1890 issue on page 5 and again the next day on February 5, 1890 on page 10 for a burial permit.

Can someone give me a clue? I'm 2000 miles away.

Need access to 1890 St Louis Post-Dispatch. It should be on ProQuest but the university library and local library subscriptions do not include this newspaper.
