1860 Voter Reg. St. Louis area - Lookup

Classification: Query
Surnames: McLaughlin, Scranton
Hello,
I was hoping to find someone who had access to the 1860 Voter Reg. indexes or cards. In San Francisco these were a huge help in putting my family back together.

I'm trying to find my gggf and his little family. In the 1860 Census I think they are living in St. Louis (Indep. City) he is working as a Carpenter he also had been a labor and piano forter. I'm trying to find an actual street they lived on so I can narrow down the churches, as at the time there where many in the small area.

His name:
John L. McLaughlin (he may have not used the L. at that time period)
Born: 1831 approx. Ireland
Wife: Elizabeth Scranton
Came to the states in 1834 approx.
May have just come from Boston, MA

Any help getting into a Voter list in St. Louis would be great.
(they were there from 1858-1865 approx.)

Thank you,
Cathie
